Being a Freshman!

So the first two weeks of high school were absolutely amazing. High school is SO MUCH better than middle school! Here's why:

• There is so much more freedom and now there is no walking in perfect, straight lines while following an annoying teacher.
• In choir there are actually deep guy voices instead of having all alto and soprano little kids and the choir actually sounds great!
• My volleyball team is beast with an amazing coach but that was in middle school too.
• I'm in high school with my brother! :DD
• I get to hang out with the older classes more now.
• The school got an awesome new principal that I love!
• There is a high school bible study that I am now apart of, which is really fun and they have good food! xD

And these are just some of the reasons that i love high school so much! The only downside is that there has been a lot of drama that I'm trying to stay out of but trying to help resolve which is quite hard to do I must say! Oh and my one best friends is still in middle school so I never get to see her...D:

So my hopes are that this school year will keep getting better and better. I don't feel like freshmeat yet! xD

P.S. The reason my post doesn't have any pictures and why I haven't posted lately is because my camera broke and I am in need of a new one! Sorry about that, I know blogs are much more interesting with pictures. Hopefully I will get one soon! 

For Grandmom...

My Grammom had passed away, last Friday, May 13, 2011. She was a amazing woman who truly believed in herself and in everyone around her. I wasn't too close to her but she still had an impact on my life. Grammom taught me that you can be anyone you want to be and no one can stop you. She never gave up in her life. She also taught me that God has a plan for every person on this earth. God makes no mistakes.

She was a very strong Christian, which I absolutely love knowing! She went to church every Sunday and was very close to the Lord.  Her favorite verse was Jeremiah 33:3, "Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know."

She also adored  going to Ocean City, NJ every summer! :D (As do i!)

My Grammom was a great inspiration for me. She is now in the most outstanding place she could ever be in, Heaven! Now she is pain free and is praising the Lord with all her brothers and sisters. I am so grateful for my Grandmother. I love my her so much and I can't wait to meet up with her in heaven! :)

A little bit about myself...

I am a 14 year old Christian girl. I go to Conestoga Christian School and will soon be attending high school which am really excited about! I am also the youngest in my family with three older brothers who have really inspired me. Jacob has gotten me through a lot in the past years. We used to be enemies when we were little kiddies but now it is totally opposite, at least for me it is! He has given me quite a lot of good advice on living life.

I absolutely adore dancing, singing, taking pictures, and hanging out with friends. I have been dancing for 9 years now and I don't plan on stopping. I am on DM dance machine and next year I will be a full member! Dancing is my most favorite thing to do and could not imagine my life without it! I have been doing a lot of singing lately. I competed in the ACSI festival which was a really great experience.I also joined vocal ensemble for the first time and I hope to be in IHL next year. I started taking vocal lessons and I'm also participating in my youth group worship team. Taking pictures is pretty much self explanatory. I don't have any special camera or anything I just enjoy being able to be creative with how i take the photographs. Friends mean so much to me and I don't know how I would live without them. I try so hard to be a good loyal friend. I feel as though I would be ridiculously lost without my friends.
